On August 28th at the American Legion property, Wilwin Lodge 3383 E Hawley Rd, Custer MI 49405, we will be honoring Todd Fessenden with the prestige honor of the Michigan Crossroads Councils Silver Beaver recognition. Todd is the Scoutmaster for Troop 1193 in Timber Trails District. He has served as a Scoutmaster for ten years, committee member for seven years, a Cub Scout leader for six years, and a member of the Sons of the American Legion for two years. Todd has also helped as a volunteer for the Marine Corps League, Toys for Tots, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He earned his Wood Badge in 2017 and was a staffer in 2019. Todd “goes the extra mile in everything he does,” Lori Fessenden.

Lori, Todd’s wife, shares “Aside from being a part of Boy Scouts in one form or another for the past fifteen years, he has been an ordained minister for the past six years, he is a past civilian chaplain for the Marine Corp League for five years, a weekly chaplain for our local homeless shelter, Hospitality Inc for three years. He was Driver of the year for Republic Services and nominated to be driver of the year for the nation. He also played Santa Claus for many different organizations over the past thirty years.”

Please help us give thanks to Todd Fessenden, one of our truly amazing volunteers in the Timber Trails District. If you are interested in joining us for the event, please contact Lori Fessenden at lfessenden@mccschools.org. Our recognition will begin at 2:00pm.
