Our Summer Camp program for Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships.  Register as a unit or as an individual Scout, and then be ready for a fun adventure!

Want a more specialized experience?  Want a program a Scout can attend without a unit?  We have many programs depending on your interests and needs.  Trail to Eagle, ATV, Ranch Hand, and more!

High Adventure memories cannot be topped.  Opportunities in Michigan and outside of the state abound for older Scouts to go beyond their comfort level.  Check out the many programs available.

We want to make your Summer Experience as organized and complete as possible.  Check out the forms and resources you will need to make you experience the best!  Watch our camp-specific promotional videos as well.

Michigan Crossroads Council Camping

Here in Michigan, we have four amazing Scouts BSA Resident Camps scattered across the state – each with it’s own unique opportunities.  Scouts can earn merit badges along their advancement trail or experience our premier programs such as; horseback and ATV riding, pistol shooting and tubing – our camps have what you’re looking for!

Outdoor adventure is a promise made to boys and girls when they join Scouting.  Today the amount of time kids spend outside is alarmingly low…only minutes per day! Through Scouting our goal is to get our Scouts outside where they have the opportunities to canoe, hike, shoot, swim and just be Scouts.

Why is this important?  In the outdoors, boys and girls have opportunities to learn skills that they can’t get anywhere else.  Here they find inspiration, learn teamwork, and become leaders.  Learning by doing is a hallmark of outdoor education and Scouting wrote the book.  This page highlights opportunities that are a available in the state of Michigan for our Scouts and the many others from out of state that choose our camping experiences.  As always, thanks for investigating a MCC Scouts BSA camping opportunity and GO SCOUTING!

WILDERNESS EXPLORER PROGRAMS

No parents required for this fun and exciting session where Scouts ages 10-13 experience all the fun of camp and learn about what Scouting is! Sessions vary from 4 days to a full week, depending on the camp.  This is a fully camp-supervised program, so no adults are required to attend with youth.

HIGH ADVENTURE

High adventure opportunities are the chance to take your Scouting experience to the next level. A high-adventure experience includes several days of trekking by foot or water craft in wilderness and other rugged, remote locations.  High adventure opportunities for Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crew, and Sea Scout Ships abound in the BSA, with some options close to home in the Michigan Crossroads Council.  Take your pick:  visit one of the four National High Adventure Bases operated by the Boy Scouts of America, one of the programs through our own Cole Canoe Base or Great Lakes Sailing Adventure, or one of the numerous local council high adventure bases that provide outdoor adventure opportunities for older Scouts, Venturers, and Sea Scouts.

FORMS AND RESOURCES

Before you arrive at camp, install the Camp App so you will be “in the know”.  Maps, guides, and other resources to make your visit to camp perfect.

Every form you’ll need to attend camp.  Includes leaders guides and resources.

Want to build your own adventure?  Consider renting a campsite or cabin at one of our camps.
