“Friends of a feather fly together,” certainly applies to the Detroit Duo (D Bar A ranch and Detroit Bird Alliance), as we partner to bring amazing opportunities of exploration to enjoy birding at its finest!

You get to choose how you want to bird. Both options will be guided by a birding expert.

NOTE: All sessions are limited to 20 participants.

BIRDING FROM THE WAGON – $30.00

Hop on one of D Bar A’s hay wagons and enjoy a ride through the ranch’s natural aviary!

Hop off for a brief hike to explore and bird or relax on the wagon, listen and watch!

Wagon Session 1: Friday, May 3, 2024 | 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Wagon Session 2: Saturday, May 4, 2024 |  7:00-9:00 a.m.

BIRDING ON HORSEBACK – $70.00

Head out on horseback, through the trails of D Bar A Ranch, dismount to hike into the woods,

then back in the saddle to finish out the ride!

Horseback Session 1: Friday, May 3, 2024 – 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Horseback Session 2: Saturday, May 4, 2024 – 7:00-9:00 a.m.
Horseback Session 3: Saturday, May 4, 2024 – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
