By sponsoring a Merit Badge (of your choice) you will be providing life changing programs that promote character development, citizenship and leadership in young people. Scouting prepares youth for success in life by offering 136 Merit Badges that allow youth to explore a variety of subjects from Citizenship in the Community to Sustainability.

Eagle Required Merit Badge Sponsor ($5,000)

(Camping, Cooking, Cycling, Hiking, Swimming, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the World, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in Society, Communications, Lifesaving, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, Family Life, First Aid, Personal Fitness, Personal Management, Sustainability)

• Sponsorship of one merit badge for a calendar year in the Michigan Crossroads Council (MCC)
• Corporate thank you and logo placed in MCC electronic newsletter
• Opportunity to host a merit badge clinic at your location with additional recognition and publicity (if desired)
• Logo and name recognition on the Michigan Crossroads Council website as an Eagle Merit Badge Sponsor with link to your website
• On-site training for your employees to become a Merit Badge Counselor (if desired)
• Recognition at Merit Badge Days and MCC annual event
• Distinctive recognition item for display at your business
• Congratulatory letter on your corporate letterhead mailed to each Scout that earns that badge in the year of the sponsorship
