2027 World Scout Jamboree USA Contingent

What is the World Scout Jamboree (WSJ)?

The World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) is the largest regular event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), gathering up to 50,000 Scouts from more than 170 countries around the world.  It is an educational event to promote peace and understanding among young people from different cultures.  The World Scout Jamboree includes many activities and opportunities to make friends from other countries.

What is the cost to attend the Jamboree?

Youth Participants and Unit Leaders ‐ TBD

International Service Team (IST) and Contingent Management Team (CMT) ‐ TBD.

Who can attend?

Only registered members of the Boy Scouts of America may attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree as members of the USA Contingent.

Youth participants must be at least 14 by the first day of the Jamboree, July 30, 2027 and have not turned 18 by the last day of the jamboree, August 8, 2027. Youth participants spaces are open to ALL registered members of Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scout.

Unit Adult Leaders – Each of the 14 or so jamboree units will have a Scoutmaster and 3 assistant Scoutmasters. Adult Leaders must age 21 or over by the departure of the USA Contingent.

International Service Team (IST) ad Contingent Management Team (CMT) – IST and CMT members must be age 18 or over by the first day of the Jamboree, July 30, 2027.
